Q.How to purchase a vehicle from us?
A. Let our expert team assist you to import a vehicle direct from Japan and save $. We have a list of vehicles mainly for commercial uses. Please note that your request for a particular car or vehicle would be always most welcome. As soon as we have agreed on the terms and conditions for the selling the vehicle, we will send you an invoice upon which you are kindly requested to do the payment through Telegraphic Transfer (T.T) remittance.
B. Cost in invoice includes freight (C&F), insurance can be arranged at an extra cost. Other cost such as import duty are on the buyer's side, please consult your local Clearing Agents and Customs for further details.

Q.Can I see digital images of the cars?
A. You should be able to see the image of the vehicle in our website under STOCKLIST-or-we-will-send-you-photos-and-specification-of-the-vehicle-if-you-inquire-by-email-or-by-ContactUs page in the website. |
Q.What is FOB price?
A. FOB is abbreviation of "Free on Board”. It does not include Freight, Insurance and Inspection charges. FOB price applies for all cars exported from Japan unless you come to our yard to take a car by yourself. FOB price includes export arrangements in Japan, delivery of car from yards to port and loading onto the ship. |

Q.Does price of the vehicle in the website include Ocean Freight charges?
A. No, the price of the vehicles does not include ocean freight charge because the ocean freight depends on the dimensions of the vehicle and the port of destination. Prices appearing in our website are all free on board (FOB). Please contact us through email-or-by-filling-the-Contact form in our website if you want C.I.F or C&F quotation for your destination port.

Q.What is the payment method?
A. Payment should be remitted by Telegraphic Transfer (T.T) direct to our account designated by our website. Your local Bankers will assist you in the process.
You are kindly requested to settle the payment with in three business days once you recieve Proforma invoice from us, there is possibility that we may sell the vehicle if payment don`t arrive on time so we request you to fax or email us the t/t copy (payment reciept) from your bank immediately.

Q.Do you accept payment through Check , Credit Card or Letter of Credit (LC)?
A. No. We do not accept these method of payment. Bank transfer (TT) is the only accepted payment method. If amount is less than US$ 1,000 we can accept payment through PAYPAL |

Q.How to buy vehicle not listed in your website?
A. If you want to buy a vehicle which is not listed in our site then you can email us at: info@japanautomart.com-or-go-to-our-Contact Us page and fill up the form with your requirement. We can arrange any type of cars and commercial vehicles through our wide rang of network upon Buyer’s request. |

Q.How is shipping arranged?
A. Upon confirmation of payment, we will arrange booking of your vehicle for shipping on the next available ship. All shipping documents are sent by courier to you after the ship sails. This is to ensure your documents will arrive before the ship arrives at your designated port. |
Q.How much is shipping charge for the Vehicle I want to Purchase?
A. Shipping charges are subject to change from time to time mainly based on the cost of oil. This is why we would rather provide a precise shipping charge for you than using Freight Calculator of any kind which often gives you an amount far from the latest and actual shipping charge. |
Q.What documents I will receive?
A. We will send following documents :
1. Bill of Lading (B/L)
2. Invoice
3. De-registration certificate (Japanese & English translated copy)
You will receive these documents Via EMS, DHL or TNT. |
Q.How long will it take to reach my purchased Vehicle?
A. It will take about 3 to 5 weeks (depends on the each destination) after vessel depart Japanese port. We use best shipping companies for desitnation port , We have tie-up with different shipping agents for different destination ports. |
Q.How do I clear my vehicle from the ship?
A. Upon receipt of shipping documents please contact your local Shipping Agents who will instruct you on further procedures. |

Q.Can I get the Invitation Letter for visa purposes?
A. We send invitation letters only to the customers that have had substantial business record with us. If you have no previous purchase history with us, we cannot send you an invitation letter unless you place in advance US$ 10,000 as a deposit, or you can used it for purchasing your requirement from us.
NB. Please note that we will never send the invitation letter, UNLESS the above-mentioned requirements are completely fulfilled.
